SMALL BUSINESS LEADERS UNITE!

If you're the owner of a small business in the Cayman Islands, consider joining the Cayman Islands Small Business Association.

Since its founding in 2009 as the first non-profit, small business advocacy organization, CISBA has grown to represent the interests of more than 400 local businesses.

The organization is striving to:

• Influence the development of the small-business community through open dialogue, the sharing of knowledge, ideas and experiences and the establishment of mutually beneficial relationships.

• Lobby and work closely with Government to change and/or create policies which will ensure the continued growth and prosperity of small businesses

• Lobby and work closely with key non-governmental organisations to change and/or create policies that will ensure the continued growth and prosperity of small businesses

• Encourage a continually expanding network of small business owners that will serve as the voice of small business in the Cayman Islands

• Support Caymanian entrepreneurs by providing assistance in the establishment and operations of their businesses.

• Create a funding scheme to ensure continued small business development in the Cayman Islands

• Educate the public to ensure a full understanding of micro and small businesses and how they are beneficial to the future of the Cayman Islands • Motivate and stimulate young Caymanians to become entrepreneurs

• Act as a resource to small businesses, Government and other organizations for information about and for small businesses

• Provide training and support for small businesses to succeed and become profitable, including negotiation and mediation where appropriate our mission statement

The mission of the CISBA  is to advocate for policies that are beneficial to small businesses in the Cayman Islands, while supporting and promoting the entrepreneurial spirit.
